We are delighted to launch our review on our CWP Autism Strategy. CWP wants to provide person-centred, compassionate care and support to autistic people and the people around them, no matter what their connection is with us. Not only do all our clinical services provide care for autistic people, but you, or someone you care for may have autism. This is why your views about our current Autism Strategy are important to us.
We have co-produced this engagement exercise with autistic people. Following their feedback, there are options to complete a short questionnaire and move on to a longer one. This was because people wanted the opportunity to talk about the strategy, but also about their experience of services. You can access the questions in different formats or you can talk to us individually or in a group. You can even just send us an email or text.
We enclose a leaflet about the review and invite you to
- Review our Strategy and respond yourself (in your preferred way)
- Promote the review to people who use our services
- Signpost your friends, family and colleagues to the review
The closing date for feedback is Sunday 20th February 2022. We will use the responses we receive to review and update our current Strategy with an aim to launch a co-produced strategy for World Autism Awareness Day on 2nd April 2022.
If you do have any questions about the review please contact Sharon Vernon or Lesley Gledhill (see contact details in the leaflet).
Please do take the opportunity to shape our services for autistic people,
