Please find the following details of pre-consultation workshops to inform the development of options for consultation on the transformation of adult mental health services in Eastern and Central Cheshire. We would welcome your attendance (and that of your colleagues) at either event if you are an existing or former user of adult mental health services or if you care for an existing or former service user.
Also, I should be grateful if you would share the invitation across your networks, including your PPG.
Adult mental health pre-consultation workshops – September 2017
The NHS in Eastern Cheshire and Central Cheshire is working in partnership with Cheshire East Council to review and transform adult mental health services.
This is a key part of local health and social care integration programmes “Caring Together” (Eastern Cheshire) and “Connecting Care” (Central Cheshire).
As part of the review, we are running two pre-consultation workshops.
It is important to us to hear your views on current services and what you think we could do differently and better. We invite you to join one of our two workshops outlined below. Your views will help us to shape a new proposed service model and inform options that form part of public consultation.
We expect public consultation to take place at the end of this year/ early next year for a three month period during which time there will be further opportunities to express your views.

If you have used adult mental health services, or cared for someone who has, your participation in one of the two workshops would be much valued.
Please note that places will be allocated on a first-come-first served basis, recognising that numbers will need to encourage meaningful interaction.
There will also be an online survey to capture the views of people unable to attend either workshop. More details of the survey will be shared on our websites soon.
