Space4Autism require Children’s Support Workers for Children’s Social Skills Groups.
Sessional work alternate Saturdays’ 9.30am – 2.30pm
Salary based on qualifications and experience (Pay Range £10 – £15 per hour)
Space4Autism has been granted funding from the Cheshire Community Foundation to enable us to set up another Social Skills Club for children aged 8-11yrs
We are looking for Children’s Support Workers to join the existing team and help to run these sessions
We are also looking at growing our existing team for the following clubs below
- Space for Kids for children aged 5-9yrs held on alternative weekends 9.30-11.30am
- Fun Friday for children aged 10-13yrs held on alternative Fridays 6.30-8.30pm
- Space for You for teenagers aged 13-18yrs held on alternative Fridays 6.30-8.30pm
You should have a good knowledge of Autism Spectrum Condition gained by working in a professional capacity either in a care or school setting. You should also have a passion for helping and developing social skills for these children through a variety of activities. We are looking for individuals who can make a regular commitment to the sessions at The Space Centre, Lowe Street as described above but may also require you to supervise activities on outings away from the premises.
