Each year Everybody Sport & Recreation hold a Sports Awards evening to recognise and celebrate those involved in community sport in Cheshire East. There are several categories including Club of the Year, Coach of the Year, Disabled Sports Achiever, School of the Year plus more. A list of the categories available is in the email below and apologies for any duplication if you’ve received previously.
If your involved or a sports club/organisation feel free to make a nomination in one or more categories or pass on to anyone it maybe of interest to recognise and reward those involved with community sport .

Find out this year’s categories below and get your nominations in before the summer deadline to be in with a chance of being recognised! | |
| | Sports Personality of the Year | | An Everybody Athlete Performance Academy member who has competed at a local, regional or national level within a sport or sports.

| | | | Club of the Year | | A community club that has excelled over the last 12 months in particular, whether that is through gaining Clubmark, success with performance, community health and wellbeing initiatives or building a new facility.

| | Health & Wellbeing Award | | This award is open to all organisations that promote sport or health & wellbeing to employees and/or the wider community.

| | | | Volunteer of the Year | | A volunteer that has shown a high level of commitment, particularly over the last 12 months, within a sport, health or wellbeing setting.

| | Coach of the Year | | A coach that has shown commitment to a wide range of individuals over the past 12 months, whether that is at the elite or grass roots level
|
| | | | Young Volunteer of the Year | | A young volunteer that has shown a high level of commitment, particularly over the last 12 months within a sport, health or wellbeing setting.

| | Young Sports Achiever of the Year | | Someone aged 18 and under who has made remarkable achievements within a sport or sports
|
| | | | Disabled Sports Achiever of the Year | | Someone who has participated at a local, regional or national level within a sport or sports

| | School of the Year | | Nominees in this category will embed PE or health & wellbeing initiatives and programmes inside and outside of the curriculum, have a strong focus on leadership and volunteering as well as having established community links
