New Leaf Project seeks Board Members
New Leaf is an exciting and innovative new Partnership of 35 organisations from across Warrington, Cheshire East and Cheshire West applying for Big Lottery / ESF Building Better Opportunities funding.
New Leaf will transform lives, empower communities, raise aspirations & connect people to opportunities which deliver positive Futures. The 2016-2019 programme will support a minimum of 2,800 residents across the LEP area with multiple and complex barriers to move closer to employment, out of poverty and to contribute to the community and local economy.
The New Leaf Partnership, led by Golden Gates Housing Trust (GGHT), is successfully through to round 2 of the funding process, which is to be submitted in May 2016 and the outcome known in July 2016. GGHT are seeking to appoint members to create the capacity and skills to oversee the next phase of our work which will include ratifying the final submission and the decision outcome. Subject to securing the funding, the Board role will evolve and the Board will be responsible for the future strategic direction and step change needed following the 3 year programme.
They are looking to recruit Directors who have the drive to take this new Partnership forward whilst having relevant experience and skills to ensure the Terms of Reference are delivered.

It is expected that the time commitment will average 5 hours per month. The roles are unpaid voluntary positions and reasonable expenses will be paid.
