I saw this advertised today and thought of the ‘Youths’ as it is aimed at 15-17 year olds. It is a government initiative and from what I can tell only costs £50 to sign up for? It is a summer and October half term programme. As well as the obvious communicative and confidence benefits; I thought it would be good for some of them to put on their CV’s as it recognised by UCAS. It also states that the programme accommodates a large range of SEN.
I know schools sometimes promote it but I haven’t heard of any promoting it locally. Attached is the link to the website.
