Family Support Worker
37.5 hours per week
£22,000 per annum
One year fixed term
Based in Congleton and Holmes Chapel
(continuation subject to gaining funding)
Visyon is a charity passionately committed to improving the emotional health and well-being of children and young people, Visyon supports children, young people and their families in flexible and creative ways, responding to the needs of the child and young person.
This exciting post involves working in partnership with the Congleton and Holmes Chapel Education Partnerships to provide family support services to meet needs identified by the schools. The successful candidate will have significant experience in working with children, young people and families in community and home based settings, in assessing need and devising and implementing plans to meet it. A solution focussed approach is essential as is attention to detail and meticulous record keeping. Some work will take place in family homes and travel across Congleton and the Holmes Chapel areas will be required. One half of the week will be in Congleton and the other half in Holmes Chapel.
