Skipton Building Society – Grassroots Giving

Skipton Building Society launched its award-winning Grassroots Giving programme in 2013 to help celebrate its 160th anniversary. That year they gave away 160 pots of £500 to deserving community-based organisations across the UK. In 2014 they went one better by giving away 161 pots to the winning groups. The winners were chosen by a public vote which attracted almost 28,000 votes! A list of the winning groups can be found on their website.

The fantastic news is that Skipton Building Society will once again be running Grassroots Giving in 2015 – and this time 162 groups around the country will win pots of £500 to go towards the fantastic work they do within their local communities. Applications are now OPEN! Apply here.
