Welcome from Jacky Forster, Director of Education and 14-19 Skills, Cheshire East Council and chair of the SEND Partnership Board Hello and welcome to our July issue of ‘SENDing you the news’ for 2019, with an update from the Cheshire East 0–25 SEND Partnership.
As a partnership, agencies in Cheshire East are committed to providing the best quality education, care and support for all children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). We are making progress, but there is still more to do and we aim to update you every month on our priorities, plans and achievements, so please share this newsletter as widely as possible with your networks.
This is an ambitious programme which cannot be achieved without the full commitment from all the key partners at every level, from parents and carers, strategic directors to frontline practitioners within social care, education, and health across both children’s and adult services.
