Once again Space4Autism have been lucky enough to be chosen as one of the Charity recipient’s of this appeal, however, if you would like to donate a toy or toys see details below:-

You may have seen in our recent E-bulletins or on our website that our 2015 Christmas Toy Appeal is now taking place.  This is the 4th year that we have facilitated this appeal which grew from being asked where staff at AstraZeneca’s Alderley Park site could donate their Christmas gifts to. Of course, we were only to happy to help and make sure that these gifts were given directly to those that would benefit the most from them – charities and organisations across Cheshire East who were working with children and families at a time of need or crisis.

Our team of staff and volunteers are now experts in sorting through piles of toys and choosing gifts as required by the organisations.  It’s usually a pretty chilly December day in the warehouse at Storage Boost, Crewe, but wrapped in Christmas jumpers and an assortment of reindeer antlers or santa hats, we manage pretty well to keep cosy.

Last year, we supported 60 local charities and organisations, but unfortunately, were not able to give toys to all those that requested them.  So we are asking for your help please to try and fill all our requests this year.

Toys are required from birth to 18 years please – If you need some help, please click here to see a list of toy suggestions per age group.

Do you work with Children and Families in need?

Then please do apply to receive some toys for your families this Christmas.  Just complete the online form here bearing in mind that toys have to be collected from Storage Boost in Crewe around lunchtime on Thursday, 17th December.  Members of CVS Cheshire East will also receive a priority service, although we will do our best to fulfil all requests.

We do have a few simple terms and conditions to read if you are applying for toys.

Thank you for your time and support.  More information about this Appeal can be found here on our website, but If you have any further questions, please do get in touch with either myself or Lyn Mitchell.

Kind regards,
