Following on from the success of the 2017 first ever Macclesfield Town Council Youth Summit, we are now starting very early plans for 2018.
Please put Thursday 8th March 2018 in your diaries. More details will follow closer to the time.
On the back of this year’s event, there are several exciting things happening…
There will be a Macclesfield Pride event in July 2018 which will be led by the young person who raised the idea at the Youth Summit. This event is being supported by the Town Council. There has already been a drop in event for this and the support has been fantastic. Dog waste bins are currently being priced up and locations decided on and we have implemented several Youth Street Sport activities across the Town which take place every week and are completely free to take part in.
It would be fantastic if you could be a part of the next one. I know it seems like such a long way off, but I also know how quickly people’s diaries fill up which is why we are letting people know as soon as possible. We literally made the decision this morning and we wanted to share it with you.
