What is the chat about?
myVoice is a project for 16-25 year olds with autism. It’s funded by the Department of Health, and it’s all about connecting you with other young adults with autism and helping you to have a say in your local communities. As part of the project, we run regular chats and have recently started running chats via Facebook Live.
In this chat, some of our myVoice volunteers Natasha and Naomi will be interviewing Sophie Walker, Leader of the Women’s Equality Party as part of our myVoice chat on women, the autism spectrum and getting your voice heard.
The chat will be streamed live on Facebook and will be split into four topics:
- Experience of receiving an autism diagnosis as a woman
- Parenthood and autism
- Building support networks
- Getting your voice heard
