Today, DWP is joining around 300 businesses at the Disability Employment Conference to launch the Government’s Disability Confident campaign. The campaign encourages employers to make it their business to recognise the talents and skills disabled people can bring. Disability confident aims to support improved employment outcomes for disabled people.
We have also launched a new Employer Portal to support employers to become disability confident. The portal includes information about the support that is available as well as posters and other campaign materials for you to download. Please take a look, use the material and share the portal through your networks.
In addition, we have produced a series of short videos about the world of disability employment. You can see these videos on our Disability Confident YouTube channel. Please share the #DisabilityConfident video series on your social network sites to continue spreading the word about the campaign.
