Review of SEND reforms in England

The All Party Parliamentary Group on Autism (APPGA), supported by The National Autistic Society, is carrying out a parliamentary inquiry into education and support for children and young people on the autism spectrum in England. It is now nearly three years since the special educational needs and disability (SEND) reforms were introduced in England, and they are looking to review how well the system is meeting autistic children and young people’s needs.

They want to hear from parents and carers, and from young people themselves, about their experiences of the SEND system and what needs to change. They also want to hear from teachers about their experiences of teaching and supporting autistic pupils in England.
