As promised I am now writing to update you on the progress of Living Autism. Our website, www.livingautism.co.uk is now live and we would really appreciate some feedback from you.
Our principal aim is threefold:
· To provide families with an independent resource of free information, directories and discussions forums
· To provide a brokerage service designed to match individuals’ needs with the best services to fulfil them
· To ensure that the services are of good quality and understand about autism
Our team has many years of experience working with individuals with autism and their families and we know how difficult it is to find out what services are available and how to get them. We hope our website will help. Your comments, ideas and suggestions will help us improve our service.
Our official launch will be on the 24th/25th June 2011 at the Autism Show at Excel in London. We have a limited number of complementary tickets available to give away. If you would like to send a representative from your support group, we would love to see you there. Please e-mail me at patc@livingautism.co.uk if you would like me to send you a ticket.
