Spice

Spice is a powerful synthetic cannabinoid. Spice is being mis-sold as ‘THC vape’, ‘cannabis oil’ and ‘THC vape pens’. The risk of unknowingly vaping Spice is considerably greater than vaping THC or any other form of cannabis.

There have been around a dozen reports of incidents in schools amongst school-aged children in the Manchester area involving spice being vaped in an electronic-cigarette device. Some of these incidents have led to pupils collapsing and ambulances being called.

The effects can include irregular heartbeat, confusion, paranoia, panic attack, insomnia, hallucinations and collapse.
