Direct Food Ingredients Raises Over £3500 for SPACE4AUTISM
Macclesfield-based Direct Food Ingredients has raised a grand total of £3,671 for its chosen charity of the year, SPACE4AUTISM.
The supportive team at Direct Food Ingredients, situated on Waters Green, selected the charity after putting a community call out to local causes. After being inundated with entries, the company put the vote to its staff and chose SPACE4AUTISM to receive their fundraising efforts for 2016.
Based at The Space Centre, Lowe Street, SPACE4AUTISM supports autistic children, teenagers, adults and their families with monthly parent support meetings, workshops, clubs and events.
From taking part in the Great Manchester 10k to getting colourful in the Manchester Colour Run, the team has been busy raising much needed funds for the charity, which is close to the hearts of Direct Food Ingredients’ staff.
Dedicated fundraising events within the company were also organised such as a football match between the sales team and the customer services department.
