Space4Autism require Children’s and Young Peoples Support Workers for
our Social Skills Groups
Sessional work alternate Friday nights’ 6.30-8.30pm and 7-9pm
Salary based on qualifications and experience (Pay Range £10 – £15 per hour)
Space4Autism are looking for Children’s Support Workers to join the existing team and help to run these sessions
We are also looking at growing our existing team for the following clubs below:-
Fun Friday for children aged 10-13yrs held on alternative Fridays 6.30-8.30pm
Space for You for teenagers aged 13-18yrs held on alternative Fridays 6.30-8.30pm
You should have a good knowledge of Autism Spectrum Condition gained by working in a professional capacity either in a care or school setting. You should also have a passion for helping and developing social skills for these children and young people through a variety of activities. We are looking for individuals who can make a regular commitment to the sessions at The Space Centre, Mill lane as described above but may also require you to supervise activities on outings away from the premises.
We would also like to hear from any students studying towards working with children with ASC.
