Dear parents,
We have been in discussions with Seamus Mannion who is Director of Dynamic Education Solutions Ltd, who run the SENDCode programme which you may have heard of. He is an ex-SENDCO and is currently seeking funding to support parents who are home schooling their children and would like to gather evidence as to whether providing a combination of online learning and having a central day at Space4Autism to focus on interpersonal skills and employability is something which parents feel would benefit their children.
To be able to access funding for a project Seamus will need to demonstrate not only the need but also that he has taken into account the views of those involved eg parents and young people. He would like to do this in two ways, with the first being to ask you to complete the questionnaire by following the link below (email addresses are required on the questionnaire to ensure only parents on Space4Autism’s mailing list complete it).
The second stage of gathering information and viewpoints, assuming the questionnaire results indicate an interest from parents, will be a presentation and Q & A session on Wednesday 6th March 7.00pm-8.00pm where you will have chance to listen to Seamus’ presentation and also ask questions.
